Eyeliner’s have been around since the Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra, first lured Mark Anthony to her bed with her seductive almond shaped eyes. Kohl was the eyeliner of choice in the time of the Pharos. All the royals were wearing it even the Kings.
No self respecting Prince of Egypt stepped outside his Pyramid without a smidgen of Kohl around his princely eyes. Since then we have become a little more advanced. Eyeliner now comes in a wide range of colors: it comes in crayon, liquid and even powder. We have colors even Cleo’s Mummy never told her about.
When you are using pencil eyeliner it is best to warm the tip first. This makes it softer and easier to apply; you can just blast it with your trusty hairdryer for a minute.

Katie Holmes has the most gorgeous glowing look, it’s no wonder we all love her. She starts with an exfoliating scrub and applies as much moisturizer as is needed, depending on all the conditions involved. She gets her glow by blending her foundation with a moistened sponge and does NOT set it with powder.
She uses a beige eye shadow across her eyelids all the way into the crease and blends to avoid lines. She tops it off with a creamy white shadoe under the arch of her brows. She draws a thin line with dark brown eyeliner on her lower lash line and gently blends it. Line the lower rim of your lash line with a dark brown eyeliner and lightly blend. When she wants added drama, she adds a few single false lashes to her upper lash line. Then she coats all her eyelashes with dark brown mascara.

With spring right around the corner, it is best to start breaking out all of your spring makeup to get prepared. Although many like to wear the same colors year round,
it is always good to try something new to bring out your best features.
Since I don’t have a tan during the spring season, I like to use lighter shades of eye shadow and blush, since darker colors only make my skin look even paler than it is.

It is not neccessay to get plastic surgery or anti-aging treatments in order to look younger, since all you have to do it put your makeup on right. When going for a younger look, try to look graceful and elegant rather than bold and extreme. Use lighter hues and more natural colors, and you will look naturally beautiful and young.
To keep your skin looking young and healthy, apply a moisturizer to your skin about ten minutes before you apply your makeup. This will give it time to soak into your skin and smooth out and wrinkles. Choose a foundation that is thin and creamy, rather thank thick and caked. This will give you a more natural look, and you can even add a little water to your foundation to make it even creamier.

There are many different color options available for eyeliner and mascara, which makes it possible to change your look in just a few simple steps. Different colors also work well with different skin tones and eye colors, so it is actually possible to bring out your eyes even more by using something other than black.
Even though I personally love my black eye liner and mascara, I sometimes put it away for a special occasion. I love to bring out my bright pencils to bring out my eyes, and I have a variety of different colors. Blue and green are two of my favorite, since they bring out my eyes and also make my skin look great. Because I have pale skin, I find that darker colors like black or dark purple make me look even paler and even sometimes Goth.

Making your eyes look smokey is not a hard look to achieve, as long as you are using the right color eye shadow, mascara, and eyeliner. You must use dark and neutral colors, like dark grays or blacks. If you are looking for a smokey look to match a certain outfit, you can even add in shades of different colors to add to the look. Dark blues, greens, and even purples look great, and make the smokey eye shadow look even better. You should first outline your eyes with black eyeliner, on both the top and bottom of your eyes. You can just follow your natural eyelid contour, but your eyes will still stand out and look great. Then smudge the liner to make it look smooth, and you can just use your finger or a cotton swab. Then apply dark eye shadow over the smudged eyeliner, since this will bring the liner out more and make it look softer.
