Contagion- Free Cosmetics
Cosmetics are notorious germ factories. They harbor bacteria causing infections because of their constant contact with bodily fluids and mucous membrane that collects bacteria. Serious eye infections can result from contaminates that collect in your eye makeup.
Keep Your Eye Makeup Free From Contaminates
Maintain the following disciplines to keep your eye makeup free from germs and preserve the health of your eyes:
1. Mascara is notorious for causing eye infections. It will usually last 2 months but if it starts to clump, speck, or become dry, it is time to retire it. If it smells bad, then you are already past the point of safety and you should probably rinse your eyes with a good, mild, wash to keep them clear of infection.
2. Eye pencils typically last 3 months. To prevent contaminates from forming, sharpen or dip your pencils in alcohol after each use. Either of these methods will kill germs
3. Eye Shadow should be discarded when it becomes dry, and you can detect loss of pigment. Always wipe your shadows off with alcohol.
Keep alcohol wipes with your regular makeup kit as a quick and easy way to ensure your health.
