Get Aniston’s Look

Jennifer Aniston has a sort of timeless beauty that doesn’t require dramatic makeup.  She also proves that its okay to break the “rules” of makeup.  No eyeshadow that is the same color as your eyes?  No black mascara with blonde hair?  Using these tips, its okay to be like Jennifer and break the rules.

Start with a moisturizer and then apply a sheer, light foundation.  Then apply your concealer under your eyes to cover up any circles.  Also apply concealer to your lids to create a base for your shadow to stick to.  Apply a peach or tawny blush -whichever compliments your eye color and skin tone the best- in the style that best suits your face shape.  Round faces are better suited for blush on the apples of your cheeks while narrower faces need it on the cheekbones.  After you apply your blush, use a large brush with loose powder to set the makeup.  However, you don’t want to see the powder so tap the brush several times before applying it.

Apply a very light pearly shade of any color in the same family as your eye color, but just on the lid.  From corner to corner in the crease, apply a sheer taupe shadow.  The highlight the brow bone with a neutral shade.  Apply a medium to dark brown liner.  You can use a brush for even more precision.  Shape and fill in your brows.  Then, curl your lashes two or three times with a black thickening mascara.  Separate the lashes with a lash comb.

Prepare your lips by brushing them with a soft toothbrush.  Then apply Vaseline and allow to soak in for thirty or more minutes.  Apply a nude lipstick and top with a clear gloss.

It may not get you married to Brad Pitt or dating Vince Vaughn, but it is sure to get you noticed and play up your features.
