Why would a person wear lip-gloss? A person may ask - is there an answer?

Is it so you have a buffed glossy look?  Or so your best friend can comb her hair without a mirror, these are mysteries yet to be solved. Maybe its so flies stick to your lips in the summer, therefore you don’t swallow them. Personally I wear it on dates where I’m not really attracted, that way if he tries to kiss me he just slides off! I have heard they are coming up with a new glo in the dark lipgloss, so at night you will always be on target when attempting a liplock in the dark.
